DOWN TIME AT THE RR...

Today Kim and I are at the Grand Blanc AKC Agility trials....last night we did not get much sleep....(I assure you it had NOTHING to do with the 5 dogs we shared our hotel with)  Because the trial site has a tendency to get really really hot with the sun in the afternoon, they moved up their start time to 7:00 am.  We started off with Excellent FAST...Macy took a 1st Place, (albiet a wild ride) and Trinket earned a 2nd!!!

All of us really enjoyed the standard course....although the Q eluded all of us.  But then Bogey earned a 3rd Place MXJ Q!!!  What a guy!

We were all done by 1:00pm...and now are sitting in the hotel all showered with dogs napping!

HUM DEE DUM WHICH ONE MIGHT IT BE???

LABKAT CPE AGILITY

Last weekend I had the privilege of judging the LABKAT CPE Agility trial.  We had a little bit of ran on Saturday early making the courses a little slick, but all and all the weather cleared up and made for a beautiful weekend.  The exhibitors and their dogs seemed to have fun and I enjoyed watching all the teams run the courses.

Congratulations to my dear friend Lisa and her little Cavalier man Dodger for being one of only a couple of teams to earn a beautiful "Perfect Weekend" Ribbon.  Way to go!!  I am so proud of you both!!!

LANCE CANADIAN RALLY TITLE!!

Morning Ladies.

Been awhile and I've been swamped with family matters and not much showing lately even, and I didn't have a chance to give you any updates.

Attached is a picture Charlene took of the pretty ribbons Lance earned in Canada on July 4th weekend.   (well, there's two cause I didn't know which one to send).  We did 4 classes and earned our Canada Novice Rally title and then moved up to Advance and earned one leg there.  All legs were earned with 1st placements - as the picture shows.   He was a good boy especially since it was hot, hot, hot, and in a fairground building with no a/c.   And, it's our first Canada title...yeah!

Hope you all have a good day and weekend.

CLAY & MACY CPE AGILITY

Here is the link to the video of Clay and Macy this past weekend...

the first run was Jumpers which I did not  get on tape....bummer, because there was some really nice handling and rear crosses going on during that run. Mary Beam the judge even came up to Clay following said she was really impressed with how well he was doing. Esp when Macy is a lot of dog to run
so the first video clip is Fullhouse,  (which they qualified with a 1st Place) then Wildcard, then Standard and finally Jackpot where the timer never buzzed

ZIP LINE

During our famly vacation up north...one of the first things Clay enjoyed was the zip line.  Clay's Grandma, and GG also took a ride on the zip line, their photos to follow, when I get them on the computer.  On Clay's very first go, he flipped upside down and was ready for MORE!!!

REPTILE WEEKEND AT BINDER PARK

This weekend Binder Park Zoo had Reptile Weekend, lizards, snakes, turtles....to see up close and touch!!!  Here is Lisa and Clay up close with the Albino Python

TILT 1st TRIAL...JUMPERS RUN

July 25, 2010 Tilt participated in her first agility trial. Somewhat a home event for her, running in only a couple of runs.  She was very happy, and I was very proud of her...

Here is her Jumpers run
